Friday

Hello Friday.
I just feel the need to write a post again about how good things have been going lately.
Well, actually, truth is, I guess some things haven't been as great as they could be.
But, I'm trying this new thing. I think it's called positivity ? You know, opposite of being negative? Ya, I know it's a little unheard of these days. But you should give it a try. Seriously. Life is too short to let things bring you down so easily. You know that saying 'Kill em with kindness?' well, don't just use that on people. Use it on everything else! At the end of the day if it makes you smile, then who cares??

+++++

Rain rain go away come again...NEVER.
Seriously, I'm very much over this ugly weather that seems to keep coming back. I miss the sunshine.
Oh Mr. Sun, Sun, Mr. Golden Sun, Please shine down on meeeeee.
oh boy, I'm in a weird mood today.

Nothing much to report
Same old same old. I have a coffee date with Coral this afternoon which will be nice. I haven't seen her in forever.
Then this weekend is Kelsey's surprise 'Welcome Home' party. Along with my dad's birthday :)
Which reminds me...I really should go get his present soon..

KELSEY. IS. HOME.
9 months later. She is finally home. I am so happy. Getting to pick her up from the airport with her family was so awesome. Such an awesome feeling. Did I mention I love airports? I love the true and raw emotions you always see. The sad goodbyes and happy hellos. Happy tears. Kisses and hugs. Just so real. I love it.

This weekend was pretty good. Nothing too exciting happened. Had drinks with Brittany on Friday night at Original Joes, which was nice because I rarely get to see her as much as I used to because our schedules are just so busy lately.
Then Saturday Ryan and I slept in till ELEVEN! ELEVEN! I NEVER do that. But...I must say, it was super nice. When we finally got up we went and had brunch at the Lampliter Cafe in Fort Langley. Then we grabbed the car and went for a nice drive around Derby Reach. Even with the rain it was very nice. We then did some grocery shopping and got some delicious salmon for dinner. Watched Dexter and went to bed pretty early as I had to get up the next morning to go home and grab Moka.
Fishing on Sunday afternoon and sunday night was picking Kelsey up. So, pretty good weekend if you ask me.
Today is only Monday, but its a sunny day and I've had a great morning. Plus tonight is dinner with Kelsey! <3

Well, that's all I can think of for today.
JRFM is on the radio and there is about 25 puppies in the next room. So...I'm going to go enjoy that now.
Bye!

happyhappyhappy

Oh hey,
So, things have been going so good lately! I hope I don't jinx it by writing this post but they really have!
Plus to top it all off, my friend Kelsey is home in 4 days. FOUR. DAYS. And her family invited me and Brittany along as a surprise to pick her up from the airport on Sunday. I'm super excited. But...not so excited that I'm going to be crying in front of more people now when I see her haha.
Ryan and I have been talking about future plans lately. Nothing too crazy, but the stuff we did talk about has made so unbelievably excited for the future. I cannot stress enough how much love that I have found someone with the same views on life and who wants the same things. I used to think I was crazy. Maybe we're both crazy, but that's just fine with me :)

Spring is almost here! Plus, getting out of work at the end of my shift and it still being light out is something I've missed terribly. It's so wonderful :)

Eating healthy has been going good. I've slipped here and there but that's alright. But I'm feeling much better and more awake.

Granilse here we come! Dates are confirmed for our holiday up to Diane and Eric's place this July. I am beyond excited for it. Trout fishing, hiking, relaxing, and swimming all day! The trout are supposed to be just beautiful up there. I'm hoping to have my fly cast perfected before going. Ah! Can it be July now please?
