This song seems fitting lately, especially for a Friday before an awesome sunny weekend <3

Harvey
When I finally get my newfie dog I will be naming him Harvey. That's been the plan for quite some time now. Ever since I discovered the movie 'Harvey', that name has stuck with me. My favorite actor is and always will be James Stewart. At first it was because of the movies 'It's a wonderful life' and 'Mr. Hobbs takes a vacation.' But then I discovered this movie when I was about 13. Fell in love with it. Yes, it's a boring old black and white film to most. But the messages throughout just hit me for some reason and stuck with me.
Some quotes I felt like searching and reading :)
Dr. Sanderson: "Think carefully, Dowd. Didn't you know somebody, sometime, someplace by the name of Harvey? Didn't you ever know anybody by that name?"
Elwood P Dowd: No, no, not one, Doctor. Maybe that's why I always had such hopes for it.
Elwood P Dowd: "Harvey and I sit in the bars... have a drink or two... play the juke
box. And soon the faces of all the other people they turn toward mine
and they smile. And they're saying, "We don't know your name, mister,
but you're a very nice fella." Harvey and I warm ourselves in all these
golden moments. We've entered as strangers - soon we have friends. And
they come over... and they sit with us... and they drink with us... and
they talk to us. They tell about the big terrible things they've done
and the big wonderful things they'll do. Their hopes, and their regrets,
and their loves, and their hates. All very large, because nobody ever
brings anything small into a bar. And then I introduce them to Harvey...
and he's bigger and grander than anything they offer me. And when they
leave, they leave impressed. The same people seldom come back; but
that's envy, my dear. There's a little bit of envy in the best of us."

thinking out loud
I. want. to. live. in. the. mountains.
Can everyone I know just move up there with me so that I don't have to miss you all so much?
But really, I'm hating the city more and more. And seeing townhouses and condos being built everywhere you turn. I hate it. So unbelievably much.

Hello Monday!
And so another work week begins again.
I have been feeling pretty darn good lately. I think getting back into my running has been a huge part of it. I used to run all the time a couple years ago and then stopped because life got...crazy for a while there. I've missed it. So much. It's like no one else exists when I'm running. I can sort through all the shitty shit (haha) that's been going on as well as completely forget about it all at the same time. Ryan makes fun of me for actually enjoying running haha. I don't blame him. For people who run who don't actually like running, like for fitness and what not, more power to em! But that's not why I run. It's always been about something else for me :)
The weather has been some what nice lately as well! Feeling that warmth of the sun is amazing. Plus, this weekend is supposed to be super nice. I hope it stays that way! Ryan and I plan to spend every minute we can outside. Our weekends have been so busy the last little while that it's been hard to fit our hikes and fishing in. We hope to make it happen this week!
Christina and I had our first dog in-home training session this weekend. And I must say, we make a fantastic team. We both bring different sides to the training program that flow almost perfectly when dealing with clients. I can't wait to see where this takes us. I know we'll be wonderful in whatever we do. Plus, putting all my experience and hard work forward felt unbelievably rewarding. I love feeling smart! Haha
LESS THAN ONE MONTH TILL I GET TO SEE LUKE BRYAN SHAKING IT UP ON STAGE WITH MY BEAUTIFUL FRIEND CORAL. FUCK YES. <3
Also, about a month till my birthday. And all I have planned right now is a ladies night. At Gabbys. So, Denise, Christina, and Natalie, if your reading this. YOUR GOING. And that's that :) Drunk Nicole will be there. And why would you want to miss that?!?!
Watched some movies over the weekend. Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - everyone should see it. Awesome movie. Chloe - No one should watch this movie. Awful. At first it seemed so scandalous. A wife thinks his man is cheating so she hires a pretty young girl to catch him in the act. Then shit gets weird. I'm telling you now, just skip this entirely. That thing you do - Okay, this movie is like, super old. From the 80's. But if you love a feel good Tom Hanks movie and your in for the catchiest song ever. Then give this a try.
