A Big Catch Up

Oh my goodness I need to catch up here!
I've been so busy enjoying this lovely weather that I haven't had the time to post anything. 


Well, we went to Whistler and stayed in the beautiful cabin of one of my clients. It was an amazing first time up there. We hiked and fished and explored the town and most importantly, relaxed. Can't wait to try it again sometime! I especially want to try kayaking down the river of Golden Dreams. 

 Christina and I took the pups to the beach one afternoon. All four of em haha. And it was an absolute blast! 

 We hiked Ford Mountain. Which was amazing and beautiful. Not super long which was nice. I would definitely do it again sometime. 

 Father's Day was pretty cool. I spent the morning with my Dad and Mom and then in the evening my brother and I took my papa out for a yummy dinner and then we met up with Ryan and went Sturgeon fishing. My brother caught one for the very first time and he had a blast. Says he can't wait to do it again.

Ryan and I spent one Saturday afternoon renting a boat from Whonnock Lake. We caught some little trout. It was a beautiful day to be out on the water.

Something really awesome is that Ryan got to go on a fishing trip to the Upper Pit River. A trip he's been wanting to go on for a long time. He caught one of the biggest bull trout and couldn't be happier. Him and I are planning a trip up there next year hopefully!

 My friends Coral and Jenelle are fostering two 5 week old puppies. I spent last Friday night hanging out at their place (which is this amazing farm house in the country) and cuddling these adorable pups! They are talking about possibly keeping one but we shall see!

This past Saturday was pretty hectic but fun. In the morning I went garage sale shopping with my mom and dad, we found a few things but nothing too exciting. Then in the afternoon Ryan and I drove out to Coral and Jenelle's to let the puppies out to pee and afterward we headed to Mark's parents house in Glenn Valley where we swam in their pool. Kobe even did some laps! Then in the evening I met up with Christina and Clarissa and we went kayaking at Alouette! It was just as the sun was starting to set so the views that we had were glorious. We stopped to swim twice and the water felt amazing. I CAN NOT wait till we get to do that again.

 Sunday morning I went hiking up Lindeman with my brother. It was so nice spending time with him, especially while doing an awesome thing like hiking. We grabbed lunch afterward and I headed home to nap haha.
It was a pretty sweet weekend. 

Today is already Tuesday! Sushi dinner date with Britt and Kels tonight <3
Tomorrow, being Canada Day, is a holiday. Not sure what the plan is at the moment but there is talk of having dinner at my parents place :)

Rock This Country

Last night I got to see one of my favorite country artists at Rogers Arena.
I grew up listening to her music and I can remember dancing infront of our old small square t.v in the living room to her music videos. Or line dancing to her songs in High School.
She was a huge part of the kind of country music I grew up with and getting to see her perform live was just indescribable. I haven't heard most of the songs in years that she sang last night but I remembered every single word. She is still just as phenomenal as she was 15 years ago. She puts on an AMAZING show.
