Well,
I stand corrected.
I used to say that I thought I would never get the 'travel bug'. That I was perfectly happy just staying in BC and exploring that. Which I'm sure I would still be okay with.
But ever since Christina and I booked Vegas and are planning to book London this year, I can't help the feeling of wanting to go everywhere!! Okay maybe not everywhere. But there's so many places I want to see.
London, Ireland, Scotland, Switzerland, Brazil, New Zealand, Australia, Africa, Mexico, Hawaii, Alaska, Nashville, (I know there's more)
But the feeling of planning a trip and booking it and counting down the days is just so exciting. I want to never stop doing that.

Oh my goodness, Christmas is over? It's 2016? What? When did this happen? I'm back to work already? Bah!
But no, in all seriousness, I'm happy to be back to work. I've missed the dogs terribly and I was starting to feel pretty lazy haha.
Christmas was wonderful :) A tad hectic but the good kind of hectic. I got pretty spoiled (Yes, I know that's not what Christmas is about) I got a cool new camera that's waterproof and shock proof. So I'm super stoked to take it out on the kayak and get some awesome pictures! Once it warms up of course haha.
New Year's eve was pretty uneventful, but fun. Ryan and I decided to stay in. We ordered sushi and watched movies. We also played a game of Disney scene It (I kicked his ass of course) and a game of chess (He kicked my ass)
On New Years day I went for an outing with my mom and dad and the puppies. We went to Cliff Park in Maple Ridge which is so gorgeous. Not the biggest or longest walk but the views are wonderful for just a nice short stroll. Plus it was suuuuuper cold so it wasn't too great to be out walking around.

Well, yesterday was fun. NOT. Ryan called me at work at 11:30 asking if his keys were in my car. They were. Since there was a meeting he had to get to I left work early and drove the keys out to Fort Langley for him. My mom and I headed back to Fleetwood to go grocery shopping because I wanted to get some fresh veggies. We got the veggies and as I got into my truck to start it...It didn't start. Yay. After a few failed attempts I called our mechanic and they called a tow truck. My poor baby. It's in the shop as I type this and I'm hoping it's nothing serious. I'm not quite ready to say goodbye. Haha.
Hm, what else is new...
Diane and Eric are down visiting from Granisle :) So on Saturday we went to our friends' Jill and Mike's house and Diane and Eric came over and we all spent the afternoon catching up and of course, talking about what were going to do this summer when we go up there again. I'm so excited!! Is it July yet? Haha
Also, there's only 66 days until Vegas. Pretty much 2 months. HOLY CRAP I AM SO EXCITED. I'm excited to see the Grand Canyon, I'm excited for my first plane ride, I'm excited for the food, I'm excited to see the strip, and I'm mostly excited to be spending 4 days there with my best friend!!
