Sturgeons, fur neices, and long weekends

Well this past long weekend was a pretty good one.
Friday night my fur niece Zoey was dropped off at my house and I got to dog sit her till Sunday!
We had a ton of fun. On Saturday Ryan and both Spencer's and Kevin all went to Brae Island and fished for Sturgeon. I ended up taking Zoey and Shadow to go hangout for a bit. We took advantage of the trails and went for a good long walk before meeting up with them. Once we got there I let both dogs of their leash and they went bolting into the water. I threw sticks for them for awhile and they were loving it. They rested in the shade together while the rest of us sat in camp chairs and laughed and drank and fished. It was an awesome way to spend the afternoon. The boys even ended up catching a couple sturgeon! Denise ended up coming down for a bit as well and she said that she loved Fort Langley! I think a big group dinner at Beatniks is in order.

That night Ryan and I took Zoey for a nice little walk around town and had sushi and watched movies.

Sunday morning I took Shadow and Zoey for walk through tynehead with my momma. Then we went to home depot and I picked out some paint chips that I like because......I will be moving into Ryan's apartment within the next couple months! Wooo! I'm actually so excited. Fort Langley is a little further away from home and work than I would like, but we both love the town so much. I'm very excited to start a make over with the place and make it our own :)

On Monday Ryan and I headed to Wendels to have some breakfast. We then headed out to watershed park to meet up with Diane and Eric to do some fishing. It was the first time we had seen them since Granisle and it was so nice to hangout with them again. The area that we were hanging out in had a s*** ton of black berries which were all ready to be picked and super sweet. I filled up a huge bag of them and Ryan and I had them finished before dinner haha. We drove out to Krause Berry farms and picked up a corn pizza and some dessert and spent the late afternoon driving around the beautiful farm areas. We chatted about how we can't wait to one day have a house out there with some property for our boat and chickens! Haha

That night I met up with Kelsey and we went for a nice drive into Abbotsford to get gas and some coffee. It was awesome catching up. She is moving in with Sean September 1st! We're both very happy that we will be going through it all at the same time so that we can talk to eachother about the ups and downs! Haha.
