This weekend was a fantastic one!
Friday night I relaxed with Ryan and we watched movies and
made dinner and cuddled. It was fabulous.
Saturday morning I did some early morning yoga and then headed to meet up with Tina for our trip to Golden Ears park. The walk was so nice! I love that trail, it was about the third time I had done it. The waterfall is always such a sight to see. The water is beautiful. Plus I had a great time with Tina and our three dogs!

Sunday morning I drove to my parents house to grab Shadow
and bring him back to Ryan’s as I was thinking we were just going to take them for a
walk somewhere.
But Ryan surprised me with wanting to do the Lindeman trail.
I AM SO HAPPY WE DID. It was exactly what I have been looking for for awhile. The trail was crazy awesome. You had to hike over giant rocks and walk across logs that had been turned into bridges and the incline took so much out of me that my legs were shaking by the time we reached the top. But it was SO WORTH IT. Lindeman lake is a beautiful glacier lake. So the water is this bright blue and green color and the mountains surrounding the area are just fantastic.
We hung out on the rocks for a little bit while Ryan fished and we ate lunch and drank our water. Fed the dogs and gave them some water as well.
It was much faster on the way down than on the way up haha.
After the hike we drove around the area for a while. So beautiful. I love it up there. We stopped at Chilliwack River, or I should say ‘The slab’ (salmon fisherman would know what I’m talking about haha)
We hungout there for awhile just taking in the scenery and fishing.
We then finally headed home and Ryan made a tasty salmon dinner while the dogs and I relaxed. We watched some movies and had menchies for dessert.
All in all it was a fantastic weekend.
Can’t wait for Blue Lake two weekends from now so that I can do that hike again!
Since I'm getting a taste for all of this, I want more and more. I want to conquer a new mountain everyday! I want to just be outside and explore. My whole entire heart feels so happy just being near the mountains and being in the wilderness. It just feels right. I love it.
