Good afternoon blog :)

Today is Monday. Which isn't that bad. It doesn't even feel like a Monday actually. It's an absolutely beautiful day and tonight is relaxing time with my wonderful boyfriend. We plan to bake cupcakes tonight and decorate them and, of course, eat them!

This weekend was a good one. Friday night was Kelsey's birthday at the Henry. We had a pre-party at her new place and then off to the bar. It was pretty fun! I got to see my friend Eli who I haven't seen in years! Such a nice surprise. He's getting married! Wait... This thursday he's getting married! He's actually the funniest and cutest little thing. It was awesome catching up with other people that I haven't seen in such a long time as well.

The Henry was alright. To be completely honest,  I'm not a big fan of it anymore. Just my opinion. But I'll still go to celebrate with my friends if they choose ;)

Saturday was a great day. Why? Because Ryan and I did NOTHING. That's right. Nothing. I, the girl who is up every day by 6am, slept till 8am. Didn't get out of bed till 9. We made the biggest and most delicious breakfast. Drank Tea. Watched movies. Baked banana bread. Then ordered sushi for dinner. It was fabulous. It was also the Zombie walk in fort langley that day. Which was cool to watch.  It felt so nice to do nothing. I think I needed a day like that so badly.

Sunday was the CIBC breast cancer run for the cure! I thought lots of other people were supposed to be there as they said they were going on Facebook, but it turned out to be just me and Brittany :) Which was actually a lot of fun! A good way to spend the morning with one of your best friends. I even ran into one of my favourite daycare clients, met lots of cool people and got lots of cool goodies. JRFM was there and I finally got a new bumper sticker! But I think I'll hang on to that for my new truck.
The run was fun!
5k. We ran most of it! I was very proud of myself. I think the motivation from all the other people running with you helped for sure. It was a cool feeling running with that many people. First time I've ever done something like that before.

After the run I hungout with my Momma and brother for a bit at home and then headed back to the apartment and just relaxed as the soreness from the run started to set in.
We eventually took the dogs out for a nice evening walk and let them run in the park for a bit.
We later made a delicious salmon dinner. I'm going to be so sad when were out of salmon. On to trout! Haha.

This morning I went for a walk through Tynehead with my mom and Shadow. We've been trying to walk through the park at least once a day. Plus tynehead is looking so beautiful lately with all the leaves changing color. I love it.
I finally went back to Yoga this morning. I've missed it so much! Because of my tattoo I had to hold off until it was healed. It feels so good to be back. I could feel some of the stress I've been holding onto just lift away. I love it a lot more than I thought I would. I just wish it wasn't so bloody expensive!
