My mom and I went for a walk near cresent beach and then went to Art Knapps to get dirt for my garden.
After we got the dirt back to the house we went out to grab lunch and take it to my nan's retirement home to visit with her for a bit. It was a pretty good visit.
After that we went back home and both fell asleep on the living room couches haha.
Later on we went out for dinner to Maru Sushi with my brother and dad which was delicious of course.
I drove back to Fort after dinner and Ryan and I decided to take the dogs out for a quick walk along the dyke and do some fishing. I caught some pretty cute trout which made the day even better!
Then yesterday was my 25th birthday! I feel so old.
It was such a fantastic day though. When I came into work I saw that Christina had decorated EVERYTHING. Okay, not everything, but the office and lunch room looked BEAUTIFUL. It was such a wonderful surprise and a great way to start the day off. Christina also got me this lovely Hiking Log Book which I CAN'T WAIT till it arrives in the mail. I also can't wait to fill it up with all the adventures we will be going on this summer!
We had a yummy and very unhealthy lunch together (the best kind haha) and during lunch Brittany surprised me by showing up with some beautiful flowers and a note which made me tear up haha. She can be so sweet.
After work I went to my parents place and my mom and I had some tea together.
I drove back to Fort where I ended up having a nap for an hour until Ryan got home.
He also had a beautiful bouquet of flowers for me and..... A GARMIN GPS. WOOOOO!!!!! Now there is NO excuse for us to get lost on those amazing hiking trails this year haha. I can't wait to start using it. There is so much cool stuff you can use it for.
We met up with my parents at Ban Chok Dee in downtown Langley for some Thai dinner. I was surprised with green tea ice cream for dessert with a little candle in it! So cute.
After dinner we went to my parents house where we had cake and I was given the rest of my presents :)
My parents got me a great day hiking pack and some work out gear and a scrapbook and some other miscellaneous things for around the house which I love. All cabin or farm themed with chickens and bears. I can't wait till we get a bigger place or our cabin where I can put all of it! <3
All in all my birthday was filled with love! I had a great one and it was all thanks to my awesome best friends and my lovely family and my beyond wicked boyfriend. I am so lucky to have such wonderful people in my life who help make each day, not just birthdays, so special.
