January

So, my brother bought himself a scale before Christmas. Now, I never used to like scales. I thought they were just something that was there to make you feel horrible about yourself haha. But for the heck of it, I weighed myself. It wasn't as bad as I thought. Now I've been working out and eating somewhat healthy for awhile now. I just weighed myself this morning and I am super happy with the results!! It's not anything drastic, but it's awesome to know that I'm actually improving and doing something right haha. I've even been feeling much more awake and my energy level is improving as well. It's a slow process, especially since I don't want to set the bar too high and then just fail :P Cutting things out slowly and adding in different workout routines slowly is the best way that I've found to keep myself motivated. Ryan and I have set a few different goals for ourselves this summer and I am so pumped!! I'm mostly excited for our hikes, since I'll be killing two birds with one stone. It's going to be an awesome year. I love that my boyfriend and I share the same interests. Especially being outside even if it's raining <3

Also, today is Friday. And what made it an even more awesome day is that I got an awesome compliment from a client who doesn't give them out very often. I used to think that he didn't appreciate the hard work that I was putting into his dogs' issues. But he was very thankful this morning and it made me so happy. I really do love my job. It's incredibly rewarding in so many ways.
