Well, things didn't go exactly according to plan today, but I did end up having a fantastic day. 
Since we couldn't get rides figured out for Cultus lake and didn't want to have to leave anyone behind, we ended up staying in Cloverdale and hungout in our friend's backyard. 
She has the most beautiful yard which backs onto this big field. She had a pool set up along with snacks and drinks. My friend and I brought our pups and all four dogs had a great time running around and even going for a dip in the pool! 
We played musical chairs with floaties in the pool which ended each time in roaring laughter. In short, it was a day that I really needed. I also got quite a nice tan as well :)
Tomorrow is brunch at the Henry and then fishing for sturgeon with our old army and navy friends. 
So all in all, a good weekend so far. Right now I am drinking a new favourite drink of mine, a cider which I can't remember the name of. But it's good, so that's all that matters haha. 

I shall leave this blog entry with a new song by Brad Paisley which is DEFINITELY going to be my summer 2014 song. I am in love with it. So catchy. Can't get enough. 
I may also like to add that in this video there is a squirrel, surfing. Awesome.
